All projects are treated with a conceptual approach and particular attention to contents, which result in a tailored language, expressed by a connotative use of typography. Tankboys studio’s practice is based on a artisan and multi-skills approach to complex projects, which involve the use of a network of trusted collaborators, such as curators, editors, artists, writers, photographers and architects.

A note on the website
This website was not conceived as a complete archive of our work. Rather, it presents a selection of projects which we believe may help illustrate our approach, ideas and thought process. More than showing our most successful works, it should serve as an expression of our design method, where the process is more important than the final result. We have designed this website as a manifesto of our approach, aimed at understanding how graphic design is not only about the visual flair and appearance, but should be about critically engaging with any content, topic or idea that arises from a project. For the same reason, the images chosen to illustrate each project aim at supporting the analysis of our approach, more than representing an exhaustive portfolio of work.
We would like to thank Rujana Rebernjak for helping us with the putting our ideas in words, Andrea Serrani for his impeccable programming skills, and Leonardo Azzolini and Enrico Bozzato for their help with photography.
