Manifesto. Opening

Saturday, September 12th, 2009

To say that the end result is what counts is just not true. Not even in design. Rather, a good designer is more concerned with the process; that winding, potholed road he embarks upon every time he gets a new job. We curated this exhibition with Cosimo Bizzarri, inviting 13 international desingers to design their own Manifesto poster.
The exhibition design is made by Zaven.

Manifesto.
From September the 12th to October the 31th
XYZ Gallery, Treviso, Italy

Artists
Daniel Eatock, Edenspiekermann, Ken Garland, Bob Gill, KesselsKramer, Ellen Lupton, Enzo Mari, Bruce Mau, Mike Mills, Bob Noorda, Bre Pettis & Kio Stark, Stefan Sagmeister, Vignelli Associates

Give peace another chance

Sunday, October 1st, 2006

We are part of the exhibition “Give peace another chance”, organized by Giorgio Camuffo during the Salone dell’editoria della pace. Giorgio asked to 34 Designers to design their own peace flag. The flags have been exhibited on the wall of a Venetian Square, and collected and published in a book. We realized a Camouflage Flag, the camouflage soldiers have to wear, beacause peace doesn’t need to hide itselves. You can buy the book here.

B-Shirt Sucks!

Thursday, September 28th, 2006

We have taken a Workshop at the third Teach Me festival, in Venice, about experimental Serigraphy printing. The title of the workshop is “B-Shirt”.
This is an excerpt of our workshop brief:

“T-Shirt is the object that most communicate in the all universe.
The B-Shirt is the alternative T-Shirt, that one of who look B-Movies, listen to the music in the B-Side of the records, and and is a fan of B-division teams. B-Shirts are the home-made t-shirts that guys make to court girls. But without success, because “B-Shirt sucks”.

More information about the workshop, and about the festival here.

We love to connect

Friday, March 17th, 2006

We did a lecture at Iuav university, invited by Artemio Croatto. The theme of our lecture was the new methods in displaying the work of a designer on a website. So, as the experience of designers like Daniel Eatock, MM/Paris and Experimental Jetset, we’ve shown how a website has to be only the medium for share some content.
